About The Position

We are seeking an RPN for a community client in Innisfil. The shifts are every other Sunday 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM Monday. This is an awake overnight position. This assignment requires experience with pediatric tracheostomy care and knowledge of medical technology and equipment. The client has high complex needs and is medical technology dependent.

Requirements

• Current CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) registration and in good standing
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
• Must have a current license and reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pediatric tracheostomy care
• Knowledge of medical technology and equipment
• Experience with pediatric g-tube, ventilator, and trach is an asset

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and reassessment
• Utilize medical technology and equipment such as: g-tube, ventilator, and trach
• Provide medication support and administration
• Complete reports and document and care notes regularly
• Communicate with family and supervisors about any changes in client care
• Meet the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times
• All other duties, as assigned
