Community Mobilizer - Alaska
About The Position
The Alaska Voter Hub is seeking participants to be paid mobilizers for the 2026 elections. Mobilizers can earn up to $250 by talking with 20 people they know about voting between late September and Election Day on November 3rd. You'll help friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers check their voter registration, make a voting plan, and remember to vote. Research consistently shows relational outreach is significantly more effective than cold contact. Through this program you can make a difference and help strengthen democracy in Alaska. Outreach can happen however you normally communicate, including text, phone calls, social media, messaging apps, or in person. You'll use Reach (either online through your computer or the app on your phone) to track your conversations and receive payment for each round of outreach. Program participation begins in September, with the first outreach round starting September 28. Mobilizers must be 18 or older. Participants are engaged as independent contractors and are not employees of Alaska Voter Hub. Alaska Voter Hub is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan organization and does not endorse or support candidates or political parties.
