About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a Community Mobility & Functional Recovery Therapist to join one of our valued client partners serving the Philadelphia Suburbs, with convenient access for professionals commuting from Northern Delaware. This full-time opportunity is designed for a licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping patients regain movement, reduce pain, and restore independence through individualized orthopedic rehabilitation. Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania licensure before employment.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited Physical Therapy degree.
  • Strong orthopedic rehabilitation assessment and treatment skills.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to manage an independent patient caseload while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical documentation.
  • Must currently reside within commuting distance of the Philadelphia Suburbs or Northern Delaware, or be prepared to relocate independently before employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience.
  • New graduates with strong orthopedic clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience treating post-operative orthopedic patients and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Manual therapy, dry needling, or orthopedic specialty certifications.
  • Experience developing return-to-function rehabilitation programs.
  • Familiarity with Medicare documentation, rehabilitation compliance, and quality reporting.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating commitment to clinical excellence and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive orthopedic and functional movement evaluations.
  • Develop individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's goals and clinical presentation.
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions that improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall function.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans using measurable clinical outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, body mechanics, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.
  • Build long-term patient relationships through compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence and positive patient experiences.
