Community Marketing Manager

DoximitySan Francisco, CA
Hybrid

About The Position

Doximity is transforming the healthcare industry and is seeking a thoughtful, relationship-driven Community Marketing Manager to build and scale two of its most strategic physician engagement pillars: Residents and Chief Residents, and VIP Physician Leaders (advisors, KOLs, and clinical innovators). This role is critical to ensuring Doximity remains deeply connected to the physicians shaping the future of medicine. The Community Marketing Manager will build trusted relationships that directly influence product development, physician adoption, and how Doximity shows up in the market, especially as the company expands its AI-powered tools. This is not a traditional “community manager” role; the individual will operate at the intersection of relationships, insight, and influence, translating real physician experience into meaningful action across Product, Marketing, and Leadership. This hybrid role is based in the office at Doximity's headquarters in San Francisco, CA, with in-office days being Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working directly building and scaling communities from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfortable leveraging CRM platforms (e.g., Airtable, HubSpot) to build structured systems for managing physician relationships, organizing outreach, and ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to guide strategy, evaluate performance, and shape high-impact initiatives across multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust quickly and maintain credibility with senior clinicians.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize qualitative insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or physician-facing products.
  • Familiarity with academic medicine, residency programs, or physician leadership structures.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, or Executive teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch a national community of Chief Residents and emerging physician leaders, defining its structure, value exchange, and engagement model.
  • Recruit high-signal members across priority institutions and specialties, and build trust through listening sessions, roundtables, and early access programs.
  • Establish repeatable systems for engagement and feedback for the Residency Leadership Community.
  • Manage a curated portfolio of high-impact physician leaders, including advisors and KOLs, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Ensure physicians feel respected, heard, and meaningfully involved.
  • Partner cross-functionally to activate these physicians across product feedback, content, events, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Identify patterns across conversations with residents and physician leaders, and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, PR, and Leadership to ensure physician feedback directly informs decisions.
  • Advocate for the physician perspective, especially in high-stakes product and messaging decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams across Product (AI, Scribe, Dialer), Marketing, PR & Comms, and Legal to shape physician-facing experiences.
  • Help ensure programs are compliant, scalable, and aligned with company priorities.
  • Create repeatable programs for physician engagement, feedback collection, and activation.
  • Maintain clean documentation of relationships, feedback, and commitments.
  • Support and evolve Doximity’s broader advisor ecosystem, including Fellows, Advocates, and Next Gen physician programs.
  • Define and track success through meaningful metrics such as community engagement, physician participation, and the impact of insights on product and business decisions.
  • Share concise, actionable updates with leadership.
