About The Position

Monroe Group is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to manage a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring and developing their team, have the personality to positively interact with applicants, residents, and teammates, and enjoy leading teams. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service. The Community Manager will be fully accountable and responsible for providing overall supervision of the community, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful. This is a dynamic leadership role within one of the country's fastest-growing affordable housing management companies.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years as a Community Manager
Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
The ability to pass a full background check
Valid driver’s license and vehicle is required

Nice To Haves

College Degree is preferred
Strong experience in affordable housing programs
Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
Experience with resident-occupied project renovations

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
Developing and managing the budget
Ensuring the property is meeting KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset and Budget Management
Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
Perform all other duties as assigned
