Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in on-site property management, preferably in multifamily housing
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in property management software (preferably Onesite), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Strategic mindset with problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Marketing experience to help drive leasing and retention efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English desired (or required , depending on community needs)
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the community’s operations, including leasing, maintenance, resident satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Hire, train, and mentor on-site staff to foster collaboration, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and execute the property’s financial plan, operating budget, and rent strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Set competitive market rent levels, optimize renewal strategies, and oversee marketing initiatives to maintain high occupancy and resident retention.
  • Collaborate on property performance decisions and capital improvement projects to protect and enhance the asset.
  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations, company policies, and local/state/federal laws.
