About The Position

At Indigo at Grissom, we’re looking for a sales-driven Community Manager who knows how to close deals, drive occupancy, and coach a team to do the same. This role is different because it is in an established community, meaning no lease-up chaos or unrealistic occupancy swings. There is consistent occupancy & operations, a strong support team in place, and opportunities for long-term stability & career growth.

Requirements

• 2+ years of multifamily property management experience
• Proven success in leasing performance and team leadership
• Experience with Entrata or similar property management software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• You know how to lease apartments and close consistently
• You can coach, train, and motivate leasing teams to hit and exceed goals
• You create a sales culture focused on urgency, follow-up, and conversion
• You’re comfortable holding your team accountable to traffic, tours, and closing ratios
• You balance sales performance with resident satisfaction and retention

Responsibilities

• Lead daily property operations of a conventional apartment community
• Drive occupancy, leasing velocity, and revenue growth
• Manage budgets, financials, and rent collections
• Train, mentor, and develop a high-performing leasing team
• Maintain property standards and curb appeal
• Deliver strong resident satisfaction and retention strategies
• Ensure Fair Housing compliance and company policies
