About The Position

Requirements

Two (2) or more years of Community Manager experience in multifamily housing.
Experience managing student housing, conventional multifamily communities, or both.
Strong financial management, budgeting, and administrative skills.
Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of a student housing and/or conventional multifamily community with a resident-first approach.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing onsite team.
Manage property financial performance, including budgets, rent collections, expense control, and reporting.
Drive leasing performance by overseeing leasing activities, renewals, occupancy goals, and resident retention initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Partner with the maintenance team to maintain exceptional curb appeal, timely service, and overall asset preservation.
Resolve resident concerns with professionalism, empathy, and effective problem-solving.
Collaborate with the Asset Director by providing operational updates, reporting, and client communications.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging community culture.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
