About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Community Manager with a background in student housing and/or conventional multifamily to lead our community with confidence, develop a high-performing team, and drive operational excellence. As our Community Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of community operations while fostering a positive environment for both residents and team members.

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of Community Manager experience in multifamily housing.
  • Experience managing student housing, conventional multifamily communities, or both.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and administrative skills.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a student housing and/or conventional multifamily community with a resident-first approach.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing onsite team.
  • Manage property financial performance, including budgets, rent collections, expense control, and reporting.
  • Drive leasing performance by overseeing leasing activities, renewals, occupancy goals, and resident retention initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to maintain exceptional curb appeal, timely service, and overall asset preservation.
  • Resolve resident concerns with professionalism, empathy, and effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Director by providing operational updates, reporting, and client communications.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging community culture.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
