About The Position

Final Strike Games is an independent game-development studio with a passion for creating world-class multiplayer, shooter, and live-service games in Unreal Engine. Our team values honesty, transparency, and respect, while working together to build industry-inspiring game experiences. We are looking for a Community Manager to help build, support, and grow the player community around our upcoming title. You will be the studio’s frontline voice to players, responsible for fostering a healthy, informed, and engaged community across social platforms and in-game touchpoints. The ideal candidate understands contemporary gaming communities, live-service ecosystems, and the dynamics of multiplayer player bases. You are autonomous enough to produce on your own assets delivered to the community and you thrive in fast-moving environments, communicate with clarity and empathy, and know how to turn community insights into actionable recommendations for the development team. This is a unique opportunity to join a veteran team shipping a new IP and to help shape the long-term relationship between our players and our game.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing gaming communities, ideally within a live-service or multiplayer environment.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary gaming genres, platforms, and community ecosystems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences.
  • Experience creating digital content using premiere, photoshop or any other marketing assets software (short-form video, static assets, educational posts, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in both French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute the community strategy in collaboration with the project leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Communicate live-game updates, patch information, service changes, and known issues across official channels with clarity, transparency, and timeliness.
  • Build and maintain an active, positive, and engaged relationship with players across Discord and other social media, forums, as well as any community hubs.
  • Identify key community voices, influencers, and content creators, and collaborate with them to amplify the game’s visibility and community initiatives.
  • Create player-facing content such as short-form videos, static assets, patch summaries, educational posts, and community spotlights that highlight ongoing initiatives and leverage current trends.
  • Record video, take screenshots and help to edit material provided by the art team and the dev team to produce assets needed for community content and campaigns.
  • Write, review, and edit outbound communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand tone and studio values.
  • Take the input of the development team to maintain a live roadmap that maximizes engagement.
  • Elaborate weekly report to monitor player sentiment, identifying emerging topics, and reporting community insights, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Track and contextualize engagement metrics to help refine future content and communication strategies.
  • Support community-focused activations such as developer Q&As, contests, livestreams, and special events.
  • Surface analysis of content performance and apply learnings to future campaigns.
