Community Manager - Chinnook Apartments
About The Position
Monroe Group is seeking a Community Manager with property management experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring and developing their team, and possess the interpersonal skills to interact positively with applicants, residents, and colleagues. Experience in Affordable Housing Apartment complexes is highly desired, along with a shared commitment to the company's mission, vision, values, and customer service. Community Managers are fully accountable for the overall supervision of the community, enhancing property value, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful. This role involves leading and mentoring a team, developing and managing budgets, ensuring the property meets Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals for occupancy, collections, compliance, asset, and budget management, submitting necessary reports, and ensuring site teams provide safe, decent, and sanitary housing. All other assigned duties will also be performed.
Requirements

- Must be able to meet assigned deadlines.
- Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures, and automated equipment.
- Required to learn all aspects of community manager duties.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with reasonable speed and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 1 year of Property Management experience in a managerial role
- Must have working knowledge of affordable housing programs

- At least 3 years of Property Management experience in a managerial role
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
- Developing and managing the budget
- Ensuring the property is meeting KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset, and Budget Management
- Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
- Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
- Performs all other duties as assigned
