About The Position

This role is essential for managing the organization's presence on social media channels to engage and grow the online community. It involves planning, creating, and executing content strategies that align with the brand voice across multiple social platforms. The role requires monitoring social media interactions and adjusting strategies based on analytics to enhance engagement and brand awareness. Success is measured by community growth, engagement metrics, and the effectiveness of social media campaigns. The work supports organizational goals by increasing brand visibility and fostering positive customer interactions through social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Acceptable areas of study include Social Media, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, English, PR or related field (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years - Experience in brand/agency social media, communications, public relations or related field
  • Copywriting & editing experience
  • Wireless or Mobile experience or heavy knowledge of the space is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media content strategies to increase community growth and engagement across platforms
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels to enhance brand recognition
  • Manage daily social media operations including content creation and community interaction to drive engagement
  • Monitor social media channels continuously to respond to audience interactions and maintain active engagement
  • Analyze social media performance data to inform strategy adjustments and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
