About The Position

Jefferson Apartment Group is seeking a Community Manager to lead the team at J Centra Burlington, a 500-unit Class A multifamily development in Burlington, New Jersey. This role involves supervising all phases of on-site operations, including staff hiring, performance management, and training. The community features a mix of apartment and townhome units across 20 buildings on 40 acres.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of Community Manager experience in residential property management.
Lease-up experience in a managerial capacity is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Motivates staff.
Manages hiring and when necessary, termination of onsite staff.
Determines transitions and promotions for on-site staff.
Handles emergency situations.
Develops and implements new strategies and programs designed to ensure long-term residency.
Oversees collection of revenue and handles delinquent accounts.
Performs regular inspections of the apartment community.
Handles evictions and landlord liens.
Adheres to and implements all company policies.
Audits lease files.
Implements scheduled rent increases.
Oversees payment of invoices.
Assists in budget preparation.
Monitors parking lot for unauthorized vehicles.
