About the position
As a Community Manager at Wevr, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies for Wevr Virtual Studio. Your role will involve engaging with creators on forums and social channels, creating community content, and fostering a community of advocates. You will also collaborate with the studio team to provide developer relations and create social messaging. The ideal candidate is a creative individual with a passion for 3D content creation, gaming, and brand marketing, who can work independently and implement direction successfully.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of community engagement programs
- Create compelling content for community channels and monitor the forums
- Author community and social daily publishing, including maintenance of the brand community and social programming calendar for global use
- Partner with the studio team to provide developer relations and create social messaging on owned and operated channels
- Create community and social channel strategy, content calendars, and set up KPIs to measure success
Requirements
- Experience in social media management and community engagement
- Strong knowledge and passion for 3D content creation and gaming
- Ability to create compelling content for community channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage creators in conversation on forums and social channels
- Experience in brand marketing and being the voice of the brand
- Ability to create community content such as FAQs, how-tos, and troubleshooting guides
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently without micromanagement
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to take direction and implement it successfully
- Experience in developer relations and creating social messaging on owned and operated channels
- Ability to create community and social channel strategy and content calendars
- Proficiency in measuring success through KPIs
