About the position
The Community Manager at Wevr will work with the platform dev team and content labs team to develop and execute social media strategies for Wevr Virtual Studio. They will engage with creators on forums and social channels, create community content, and develop and execute streaming programs. The ideal candidate is a strong teammate with critical thinking skills, and at least 3 years of experience in community and social media management. They should have a deep interest and involvement in game and real-time 3D development and community, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of community engagement programs, creating compelling content for community channels, and monitor the forums
- Author community and social daily publishing including maintenance of the brand community and social programming calendar for global use
- Partner with the studio team to provide developer relations, create social messaging on owned and operated channels
- Create community and social channel strategy, content calendars, and set up KPIs to measure success
- Measure, monitor, and report on specific program performance and longer-term trends as well as other industries related to community influencer efforts
- Consolidate and report on worldwide community trends, topics, and sentiment
- Collaborate with the team to create developer diaries
- Develop and execute streaming programs for Discord, Twitch, YouTube, and others.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in community and social media management.
- Deep interest and involvement in game and real-time 3D development and community.
- Knowledge of brand communications, social, and gaming ecosystems is required.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments and all levels of the organization.
- Strong initiative, self-motivated and problem-solving ability.
