About The Position

UNFOLD is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead conversations between clients' projects and their audiences. This role requires a strong understanding of pop culture, current events, and digital discourse to engage fans, guide brand voice, and meet engagement objectives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in community management, preferably in the entertainment and media industry, and can effectively interact with fans, collaborate with social strategists and creative teams, and advance campaign narratives. You will be the day-to-day voice for top-tier brands, responsible for scheduling content, conducting social page sweeps, and tracking performance metrics. You will collaborate with Social Producers and Designers to create culture-first ideas for clients like Disney, Warner Bros., and Prime Video. A strong understanding of platform-native language and analytics software is essential for real-time engagement.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of social media experience, specifically within community management
  • Expert knowledge of all current social media platforms and an active curiosity regarding up-and-coming digital spaces.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to master diverse brand voices and tones.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social workflow, distribution, and analytics software.
  • Familiarity with social content optimization and platform best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume interaction in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to continue the conversation with global audiences.
  • A passion for pop culture, current events, and social-first creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary voice for high-profile clients, responding to fans using a distinct brand voice across all applicable social platforms.
  • Conduct multiple social page sweeps daily to ensure real-time interaction and community health during client-determined windows.
  • Craft and post live tweets and timely, event-style content to spark immediate engagement and keep the brand at the center of the cultural conversation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of fandom language and internet culture to ensure responses are authentic, timely, and shareable.
  • Orchestrate the scheduling and posting of all social content across multiple accounts, ensuring 100% accuracy as laid out in the social campaign calendar.
  • Monitor workflows and proactively flag missing assets or elements to the production team to ensure a seamless publishing cadence.
  • Support the execution of weekend and evening publishing requirements to maintain constant momentum for major global entertainment launches.
  • Ensure all social content is optimized for platform-specific distribution, maintaining high standards for visibility and audience reach.
  • Track content performance using agency tools like Sprout Social or native analytics to provide actionable insights for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Participate in internal creative brainstorms to develop new content ideas that align with social strategy goals and broader agency OKRs.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to evaluate the success of community interactions and suggest optimizations for future social strategy.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging platform features to ensure our clients maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape.
