About The Position

Community Maintenance Technicians play an important role in keeping our apartment communities operating safely, efficiently, and at a high standard. They respond to resident service requests, troubleshoot and complete repairs, prepare apartment homes for new residents, and help maintain the overall condition of the community. This is a hands-on career in property management where you will be responsible for various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the apartment community.

Nice To Haves

• Previous apartment maintenance experience
• Relevant hands-on experience from other industries
• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related skilled trade

Responsibilities

• Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems
• Performing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents, including completing repairs and ensuring homes are move-in ready
• Inspecting apartments, common areas, and building systems for maintenance needs
• Assisting with the upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintaining tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas
• Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with residents
• Working closely with the onsite team to keep the community operating at a high standard
