The Community Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing property assets. This role involves responding to maintenance issues and completing tasks within defined timing and quality requirements. The technician will perform work in various disciplines including mechanical, carpentry, painting, masonry, and other general maintenance activities. They will also be responsible for ordering and replacing supplies, pressure washing, installing and repairing signs, painting, and maintaining records of work orders using an iPad. The position requires cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, conducting routine maintenance tests, and assisting with any maintenance operations to ensure workflow and meet schedules. The role also involves participating in meetings to integrate activities, communicate issues, and resolve problems. Ensuring operations comply with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment are key aspects of this position. The technician must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and be on call for emergencies.
