Community Living Specialist Residential Weekends 8am - 8PM shift, in Landover
About The Position
Facility based, the Community Living Specialist is in constant face-to-face contact with persons served primarily in a Residential setting, but may also be assigned tasks and functions in a Day program setting covering vacancies or absences as required. The Community Living Specialist’s goal is to increase the persons’ capacity for independent community living, through the establishment of support, rapport, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences. The Community Living Specialist consistently exercises discretion and sound sound judgment in the performance of the duties of the position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of adult mental health experience required.

- Associate Degree
- Certificated Nursing Assistance (CNA)
- Medical Technicians (Med Tech.)
- Related certified professional
- College degree may replace experience requirement.
Responsibilities
