About The Position

The Community Living Specialist 2 assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and self-fulfillment. The Community Living Specialist 2 implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with direct care, residential care, day program, and human services experience strongly encouraged to apply!

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience with working with adults with disabilities, living on their own in the community required.
Must be DDS Medication Administration Certified, and PMT (Physical and Psychological Management Training) certified to assist with de-escalation and crisis intervention when supporting individuals with disabilities.
Ability to use technology.
High School/GED
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to transport individuals in your own vehicle.

Work with a team to provide the best support for the members in the home.
