About The Position

The Community Living Coordinator is responsible for supervising assigned staff, ensuring they meet performance standards necessary to serve individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves carrying the agency pager and responding 24/7, with flexibility for variable hours as needed to effectively carry out duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in social services, psychology, or related field as required by the IL Department of Human Services (DHS)

Responsibilities

• Selects and supervises (orients, trains, schedules, evaluates, disciplines, commends, and directs daily activities) assigned subordinate staff utilizing measurable performance evaluation criteria for staff growth and ensuring performance standards necessary to meet the needs of persons served are met in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of the Agency and the services it provides.
• Carry and respond to Agency pager within departmental designated timeframes 24 hours per day 7 days per week, except when on General Leave or when other arrangements are made with supervisor.
