Join our OB/GYN team providing education to pregnant patients through community classes. Class topics include labor and birthing, lactation/breastfeeding, postpartum health and giving birth center tours. In person classes are taught at South University and virtual classes are taught from the Southpointe clinic. Classes are provided on evenings and weekends. The Community Life Educator establishes, strengthens, and maintains community relationships and partnerships based on assigned focus area and expertise. Must be able to work effectively with groups and communicate with individuals and groups. Must have experience in adult learning and learning styles, or as appropriate to developmental stage of participant. Experience in teaching and facilitation of groups essential. Responsible for data collecting and administrative tasks associated with training courses as required by curriculum, grant funded programs and state regulations when applicable.
