About The Position

Landmark of Fridley, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Director to join our growing team! Landmark of Fridley Senior Living is in Fridley, MN, located right off Central Ave and Mississippi Street, at the former home of Sandee’s Restaurant. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 69-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Requirements

  • Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Professional experience in health care of at least 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the development, organization and coordination of facility and community resources to provide comprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant.
  • Provide an ongoing program of community life activities designed to meet the interests and preferences to encompass the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmental well-being of each tenant.
  • Provide a Community Life program daily including evenings and weekends.
  • Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies and provide for their accessibility through organized storage.
  • Establishes Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance.
  • Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers.
  • Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor.
  • Foster Family and Community support through the Community Program i.e. newsletters, networking, activities which bring Family members and members of the community into the building.
  • Contribute to the community efforts to maintain and / or improve quality of life and quality of care by participating in the following: Care conferences, QAPI, Department Head Meetings.
