About The Position

Chaska Heights, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our growing team. Chaska Heights Senior Living is located one mile north of Highway 212 off of Highway 41 in Chaska, Minnesota. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 136-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional experience in health care of at least 2 years

Responsibilities

Ensure the development, organization and coordination of facility and community resources to provide comprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant.
Provide an ongoing program of community life activities designed to meet the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmental well-being of each tenant.
Provide a Community Life program daily including evenings and weekends.
Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies and provide for their accessibility through organized storage.
Establishes Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance.
Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers.
Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor.
Foster Family and Community support through the Community Program i.e. newsletters, networking, activities which bring Family members and members of the community into the building.
Contribute to the community efforts to maintain and / or improve quality of life and quality of care by participating in Care conferences, QAPI, and Department Head Meetings.
