About The Position

Gable Pines, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Director to join our growing team! Gable Pines, located in Vadnais Heights, brings an entirely new dimension to senior living in the Roseville/White Bear Lake area. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 123-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, and a MOD Weekend Rotation Wage: $26.00-$28.00 per hour In this position you will ensure the development, organization and coordination of facility and community resources to provide comprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Our Community Life Director provides an ongoing program of community life activities. These activities are designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive Recreation/Wellness Assessment, the interests and preferences to encompass the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmental well-being of each tenant.

Requirements

  • Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Professional experience in health care of at least 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Provide a Community Life program daily including evenings and weekends.
  • Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies and provide for their accessibility through organized storage.
  • Establishes Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance.
  • Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers.
  • Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor.
  • Foster Family and Community support through the Community Program i.e. newsletters, networking, activities which bring Family members and members of the community into the building.
  • Contribute to the community efforts to maintain and / or improve quality of life and quality of care by participating in the following: Care conferences QAPI Department Head Meetings
