About The Position

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking an energetic, service-focused Community Life Coordinator to help create exceptional experiences for residents through engaging programs, events, excursions, and personalized support services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults, coordinating activities, providing outstanding customer service, and using technology to enhance resident engagement. This position works a flexible schedule that generally follows Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, with occasional evenings required for special events and programs. As a Community Life Coordinator, you will play a key role in enriching the resident experience by supporting community programming, coordinating events and outings, welcoming new residents, and providing day-to-day assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, specifically within activities, recreation or even coordination is ideal
  • Prior work experience in senior living, retirement communities, or resident services preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using Canva, WordPress, or similar communication and design platforms
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate non-CDL vehicles
  • Basic technology troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate resident activities, events, and programs.
  • Support resident outings, excursions, and special community events.
  • Assist with event setup, guest welcoming, and resident engagement.
  • Create and distribute calendars, newsletters, and community communications.
  • Maintain and update the SeafieldsLife resident engagement app.
  • Support new resident move-ins, orientation, and basic technology setup.
  • Provide basic technology assistance for residents and community programming.
  • Coordinate volunteers and help maintain activity supplies and inventory.
  • Process activity billing, receipts, and event-related documentation.
  • Safely transport residents using company vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Support evening, weekend, and seasonal community events as required.
