About The Position
Boden Apple Valley, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Community Life/Activities Assistant to join their team. This role is crucial in assisting the Community Life Department Supervisor with the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs tailored to the needs and interests of each resident. The Community Life Assistants become like family and significantly impact the lives of residents in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. The community, which opened in July 2022, offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 64-unit apartment-style setting and was voted Readers Best Assisted Living in 2023.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs.
- Communicate programs and develop positive relations with residents, family, and volunteers.
