Community Liaison

MeadowDallas, TX

About The Position

Meadow is transforming end-of-life care, one of the largest and most overlooked industries in America. In under two years, we became the largest independent funeral home in California and became the trusted partner for hundreds of families every month during one of life's hardest moments. We've now expanded into Texas and several other states. We're well-funded, growing fast, and built by a team that believes families deserve far more compassion and transparency than this industry has historically offered. As our first Community Liaison in Texas, you'll own a market - Dallas or Houston - and build the relationships that drive Meadow's growth in the state. Your job is to become a trusted name across hospices in your market - building real, lasting relationships with the teams who guide families through loss. These are the people families turn to when they lose someone, and the relationships you build directly shape which funeral home those families choose. If you've built a book of business in healthcare, senior living, real estate, insurance, hospitality, or another relationship-driven field, you already have the most important skills for this role. You know how to show up consistently, follow through, and earn trust over time. We'll teach you the rest. The work is relationship-driven, not transactional. No cold calling, no hard selling — just long-game trust building, with a base salary, uncapped commission, and the satisfaction of knowing your work genuinely matters. It's also hands-on. Roughly 20% of your time is spent running ground operations that help us grow the business and improve the family experience. This is a field-based role - you'll be out in your market most days, so reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are also required.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in a relationship-driven role - real estate, insurance, pharmaceutical sales, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or anywhere your success came from people trusting you
  • Based in Dallas or Houston (or planning to be before your start date).
  • You build relationships that last. You stay in touch, follow through, and people remember you for the right reasons.
  • A confident communicator. You're comfortable in front of a group, in a 1:1 with a decision-maker, or in a quiet conversation with a family.
  • Self-driven. You don't need a manager looking over your shoulder. You manage your own calendar, prioritize your day, and get results.
  • Calm and adaptable. You bring care to difficult moments and figure things out when plans change.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are also required.

Nice To Haves

  • You speak Spanish. Many of the families we serve are Spanish-speaking.
  • You already know the DFW or Houston care community - hospice, senior living, healthcare, or adjacent.

Responsibilities

  • Own your territory. Build, manage, and grow relationships with care providers across DFW or Houston.
  • Become a familiar face at hospices - running short trainings, dropping by regularly, and being someone they can count on.
  • Stay in touch with existing partners, close the loop on referrals, and keep relationships strong over time.
  • Support referred families with warmth and clarity during one of the hardest weeks of their lives.
  • Keep your pipeline organized in HubSpot (don't worry, we'll train you) and use what you learn to get better every month.
