The Coordinator supports Hand in Hand / Mano en Mano’s mission to ensure that all immigrants and farmworkers have access to resources. This position oversees project timelines, community engagement activities, advisory and coordinating council facilitation, data collection processes, and compliance with grant deliverables. The Coordinator ensures that immigrant, refugee, and migrant communities are meaningfully engaged and that all activities are conducted in a culturally responsive, ethical, and equitable manner. This position informs Mano en Mano’s work and plays a leadership role in supporting Haitian and/or Latinx farmworkers in Downeast Maine. The Coordinator upholds Mano en Mano’s racial justice values and philosophy, which guide how we support immigrants and farmworkers, including through the Welcome & Resource Centers. Outreach activities take place statewide, with a strong focus on Washington and Hancock Counties during seasonal agricultural work cycles.
