About The Position

As a Community Leasing Associate, you’ll be the face of Fairfield for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and creating exceptional living experiences. This role combines sales, customer service, and marketing to help our communities thrive. The role involves serving as the first point of contact for prospects and residents, driving the leasing process, closing deals, and delivering outstanding service. It also includes managing lease files, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing Yardi software. Marketing responsibilities include updating social media and assisting with advertising, as well as staying informed about local market trends. The position requires working safely and cooperatively with others, adhering to performance standards, communicating effectively, and following all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. The role involves access to residents' homes and confidential information, and criminal history may be considered in relation to these duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Leasing or real estate experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of low income Housing tax credit (LIHTC) preferred.
  • Experience using Yardi or similar property management software a plus.

Responsibilities
