The Community Lead is part of the Building Operations team within the Law School at Vanderbilt University. This position is vital to the community experience as the school’s primary point of contact for guests, faculty, staff, and students, creating a welcoming and collaborative environment. The Community Lead has strong customer service and communications skills and an ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently. The Community Lead also contributes to maintaining the overall appearance, security, and safety standards of the Law School. This in-person position reports directly to the Operations Manager, and the role assists with daily operations and supports Law community general administrative and operational needs to accomplish their mission and service goals. Vanderbilt Law School’s Operations Department supports the Law School in the areas of oversight, management, and assistance with the law school building and its 178,000 square feet of space and over 300 events per year. This includes coordination of room scheduling, event planning, coordination and execution, upkeep, and general maintenance. The Operations Department also handles the planning and execution of larger scale building expansion and renovation projects.
