About The Position

We’re hiring our first Community Lead to build and run the Taste community — a network of the best designers, creative engineers, and creative technologists in the world. Our community is one of our core moats. They’re the humans who teach our models what great looks like. They’re the people shaping our data, testing our products, and evangelizing what we’re building. You’ll own the end-to-end experience: finding them, onboarding them, keeping them engaged, and making them feel part of something they actually care about.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Community, Developer Relations, or Creator Programs at a creative-forward or AI-forward company (Figma, Notion, Linear, Framer, Adobe, Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, Webflow, etc.)
• You’ve built a real community from scratch — Discord, Slack, in-person, or all three
• Strong writer and strong vibe setter — your community events and newsletters feel alive
• You’re plugged into the creative/design world and have opinions about who the best people in it are
• You love meeting designers and talking about design

Responsibilities

• Growing the Taste community across designers, design engineers, and creative technologists
• Running our expert programs: onboarding, engagement, feedback, retention
• Owning comms: newsletter, Slack/Discord community spaces, events (virtual + IRL)
• Partnering with Ops to run data-labeling and expert-review programs for customer projects
• Building the brand moments that make people want to join Taste — launch events, Twitter presence, collabs
• Closing the loop between the community and the product team: surfacing what experts are seeing, what they want, what’s missing
