About The Position

In this hands-on position, the Community Impact Intern will gain a better understanding of the company’s day-to-day activities by assisting in a variety of areas; including company events and general activities in various departments. The Community Impact Intern will complete a community related project and share findings with leadership at the conclusion of the internship. This internship presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in business within a dynamic organization. The intern will also have opportunities to network with other interns, leaders, and departments within the organization. This position will be with Stratacor, an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment authorization at this time.

Requirements

Highest degree of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality; demonstrated discretion in the handling of highly sensitive material and information.
Excellent reading, writing, editing skills.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Resourceful, with good organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet required deadline.
Strong problem-solving and organization skills.
Team player, ability to see the big picture goals of the organization and contribute on day-to-day tasks.
1-3 years relevant course work in Business, Human Resource Management
Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program for Business, Marketing, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Assist in the communication, planning and execution of various community opportunities and events
Research strategic community initiatives and data
Assist with executing community initiatives, meetings, and events
Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders; includes providing project guidance and support
Compile and present community findings to leadership
