About The Position

The Community Hub Manager leads daily operations of Safe Haven's new Family Hub, a family-centered, low-barrier space serving families with minor children who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Davidson County. This role oversees Hub programming, partner coordination, drop-in services, and the intake/triage function, ensuring families have a trusted entry point to housing navigation, workforce supports, childcare, parenting and wellness programming, connection to public benefits, and basic need support. The Hub Manager supervises the Intake Coordinator, coordinates closely with program leadership and other support positions, and serves as the primary point of contact for community partners delivering services on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field required; Master's preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Three years of experience in social services, community programming, or nonprofit operations; at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-partner programming or working in a collaborative community-services environment.
  • Knowledge of family homelessness, housing instability, and the Davidson County social services landscape strongly preferred.
  • Training in or familiarity with Trauma Informed Care; willingness to complete additional training as required.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads day-to-day operations of the Family Hub, ensuring families experience a welcoming, trauma-informed environment from first contact through deeper engagement.
  • Supervises the Intake Coordinator, providing regular supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of care. Provides bi-weekly supervision.
  • Coordinate and schedule partner-led programming calendar (parenting workshops, legal clinics, financial coaching, health services, childcare orientation, workforce events, etc.).
  • Actively pursue, build and maintain strong working relationships with community partners to facilitate robust services and resources for families.
  • Coordinate with Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager to connect volunteers and community organizations to engagement opportunities at the community hub.
  • Tracks and reports on Hub utilization, family participation, and partner engagement in coordination with the Data and Evaluation Director; ensure data is entered accurately in Salesforce and contributes to grant outcome reporting and continuity of services.
  • Partners with housing, homelessness prevention, clinical services, youth services, and rapid rehousing program staff to ensure strong coordination and communication throughout all Safe Haven programming for families.
  • Coordinates with the Housing Director on landlord engagement events and housing-related programming hosted at the Hub.
  • Coordinates with the Clinical Services Manager on therapeutic programming, group offerings, and connections to mental health partners.
  • Coordinates with Youth Program Director on parenting support offerings and youth specific programming.
  • Manages day-to-day Hub logistics, including space scheduling, supply inventory, signage, family-facing communications, and on-site safety protocols, in coordination with the Operations Coordinator.
  • Represents Safe Haven and the Hub in community meetings.
  • Implement a trauma-informed framework within all Hub operations and programming.
  • Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive client information.
  • Adhere to agency policy, procedures, and the professional code of ethics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
