About The Position

ACHIEVEability is seeking a Community Housing Connector to engage residents throughout West Philadelphia and help connect them to housing resources, City programs, and community services. This role involves conducting door-to-door outreach, sharing information about housing and homeownership programs, connecting residents with referrals and community resources, assisting with applications, attending community events, tracking outreach activities, gathering community feedback, and collaborating with staff and partners. The goal is to support individuals and families in reaching their full potential by fostering housing stability, economic mobility, and personal growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in community outreach, customer service, social services, housing services, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort engaging residents in community settings.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
