About The Position

This position involves providing skilled nursing home visits to clients within the agency's service area, adhering to established policies and procedures. The role includes coordinating therapy visits and supervising Home Care Aide staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional nursing skills, leadership, and decision-making abilities, adapting to various situations. Additionally, the RN will serve as a resource to communities in Hancock County, offering assistance for Public Health needs. Travel to patient homes is a regular requirement of the job.

Requirements

• Current Iowa registered nurse license
• Must be able to work independently in a variety of home situations
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have own vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Two years nursing experience preferred
• One year experience working in an ambulatory setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing home visits to clients in the agency service area in accordance with stated policy and procedures
• Coordinates therapy visits
• Provides supervision of Home Care Aide staff
• Demonstrates professional nursing skills, leadership and decision-making abilities and the ability to adjust to the needs of a situation
• Works as a resource to the communities in Hancock County to provide assistance where needed for Public Health
• Will travel to patient homes as needed
