Home-based Community Habilitation DSP
About The Position
Ability Beyond is seeking passionate individuals to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them live their best lives. The Community Habilitation program offers one-to-one training to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to develop or enhance the skills needed to live more independently in their homes and in the community. This person-centered approach helps individuals improve their independent living skills and participate in social and recreational activities. Support is provided to individuals living in group homes, independently, or with their families, with services tailored to meet unique needs. Daily tasks include assisting individuals with activities of daily living such as laundry, housekeeping, and money management, as well as engaging in fun group and solo activities like sports games, wrestling matches, plays, and dinner outings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal vehicle
- Willingness to learn

Responsibilities
