About The Position

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a Community Groundskeeper for Riverside Park Apartments. This is a hands-on, entry-level position for individuals who are dependable, take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and like seeing the results of a job well done. As a Groundskeeper, you will play an important role in keeping our apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. This role requires someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active throughout the workday. Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, construction, or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areas
• Picking up litter and debris throughout the property
• Keeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas clean
• Assisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Maintaining pool and recreational areas
• Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents
• Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Helping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well maintained
• Performing physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions
