The Community Engagement Manager plays a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external community stakeholders throughout OCOK’s ten-county catchment area. This position is responsible for integrating and implementing a well-designed tactical community engagement and adoption recruitment plan that advances the mission of Our Community Our Kids (OCOK). As the Community Engagement Manager, you will supervise a staff of Community Engagement Specialists and the Adoption Recruitment Supervisor. The position is sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Occasional work on weekends and some evening as necessary. This position oversees an engagement team primarily serving the Eastern counties of Region 3 including: Collin, Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, and Navarro counties. Must maintain confidentiality and follow policies related to financial information, personnel records, and client records.
