The Community Engagement Liaison performs routine clerical activities supporting the daily operations of the Office of the Mayor and City Commission. Work involves coordinating schedules for meetings, external affairs and events, developing a variety of correspondence and public communications materials, conducting research, and completing projects. Interacts frequently with the public, and elected officials, and external agency representatives; handles highly sensitive and confidential matters. Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude in the use of initiative. Position exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Reports to the assigned Elected Official / Chief of Staff or designee. Position requires working flexible hours , including evenings or weekends as needed.
