Community Engagement & Events Manager
About The Position
The Community Engagement & Events Manager is responsible for building and strengthening WUSF Public Media’s presence within the community through strategic partnerships, outreach initiatives, public events, and audience engagement opportunities. This role serves as a key ambassador for WUSF and Classical WSMR by developing meaningful relationships with nonprofit organizations, businesses, civic leaders, educational institutions, and community stakeholders. The Community Engagement & Events Manager is a relationship-driven, creative, and highly organized "hybrid" professional—part event strategist, and part brand ambassador. They are passionate about connecting audiences with impactful programming and mission-based initiatives and have the logistical chops to manage complex partnerships and high-impact events.
