About The Position

Our nonprofit is seeking a Community Engagement & Development Coordinator to help expand our community presence, strengthen donor relationships, recruit and engage volunteers, and support fundraising initiatives that make a lasting impact. Working closely with the Executive Director and in partnership with the VP of Marketing & Communications, you'll play a key role in connecting people with our mission through outreach, events, stewardship, and strategic engagement.

• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, community engagement, communications, or related fields.
• Passion for serving others and advancing a mission-driven organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with donors, volunteers, businesses, and community partners.
• Coordinate volunteer engagement and appreciation efforts.
• Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship activities.
• Partner on community events, outreach activities, and volunteer experiences.
• Represent the organization throughout the community and cultivate new partnerships.
• Help identify opportunities to grow community support and philanthropic investment.
