About The Position

Jerry is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to represent the brand authentically and build trust with current and future users across various online platforms. This role involves actively participating in communities where customers discuss car insurance and repairs, such as Reddit, Quora, and TikTok, rather than just managing these channels. The goal is to foster genuine engagement and provide value within these communities.

Requirements

Platform native with a dislike for corporate-speak; writes with a tone that earns upvotes and moves naturally across Reddit, TikTok, and Quora.
3+ years in community management or organic social media, preferably in fintech, insurtech, or another consumer-facing/regulated category.
Strategic operator who builds systems, understands SEO, and knows how LLMs cite sources.
Proven ability to make "boring" or "stressful" categories feel human, authentic, and engaging.
Patient, curious, long-game player who values organic trust over quick PR wins.
Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time salaried positions.
Must currently reside in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA for full-time hourly positions.

Responsibilities

Build and grow Jerry's organic presence across key channels like Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok.
Develop Jerry's playbook for community engagement, including posting, replying, and knowing when to remain silent.
Grow Jerry's subreddits into active, trusted communities.
Build a content and engagement strategy that scales while maintaining authenticity, utilizing AI where beneficial.
Collaborate with Growth and Content teams to ensure consistency across all channels.
Measure key metrics such as sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation.
