Community Engagement Coach

Mansfield HallEugene, OR
Hybrid

About The Position

Mansfield Hall is a living and learning community for neurodivergent college students who are capable of college but not yet fully ready for total independence. The work is organized around four areas: Living (independent living skills), Learning (academic and executive functioning), Giving (community involvement), and Engaging (social and emotional growth). Coaches are responsible for facilitating these areas in real-time, every day, rather than in a classroom setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, education, social work, or a related field

  • You're uncomfortable addressing interpersonal conflict or emotional situations as they happen
  • You struggle to hold a boundary with someone you also genuinely like, or to give direct feedback
