About The Position

CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and multi-cultural world. This role serves as a local ambassador and community liaison for CIEE BridgeUSA programs, focusing on identifying and cultivating new host employer partnerships, promoting CIEE programs, supporting outreach efforts, and coordinating community engagement events.

Requirements

  • Experience in community engagement, partnership development, business outreach, or sales support.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Passion for cultural exchange, international education, and CIEE’s mission.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating events, community initiatives, or stakeholder engagement activities preferred.
  • Familiarity with seasonal employment programs, hospitality, tourism, or international exchange programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a local ambassador and community liaison for CIEE BridgeUSA programs.
  • Identify and cultivate new host employer partnerships to support participant placement opportunities.
  • Introduce prospective host employers to the Seasonal Exchanges Host Sales team.
  • Promote awareness of CIEE programs and the value of international exchange within the community.
  • Support host employer outreach efforts by identifying businesses interested in participating in seasonal exchange programs.
  • Implement strategies to expand employer engagement and increase placement opportunities within the region.
  • Assist in strengthening partnerships with current host employers.
  • Coordinate quarterly community engagement events involving host employers, participants, and community partners.
  • Support local initiatives that enhance participant experiences and strengthen community involvement.
  • Assist with planning networking events, cultural activities, and employer appreciation efforts.
  • Represent CIEE at local meetings, participant events, and community gatherings as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal CIEE teams regarding employer feedback, community trends, and partnership opportunities.
  • Provide insights into local market conditions and seasonal workforce needs.
  • Support positive relationships between participants, employers, host families, and community stakeholders.
