Discounted Pet Insurance, and Gym Memberships Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide equitable direct and in-direct services to youth and families in Gunnison County for Hispanic community members served within the Department of Juvenile Services. This position will primarily work with the GCSAPP program. This position will translate documents across multi-medias and provide written or oral messaging to disseminate throughout Gunnison County. This position will provide interpreting services to the Department of Juvenile Services, meetings, community events and be a liaison to other Gunnison County community organizations as determined by the Juvenile Services Deputy Director. This position is currently supported by grant funding, which allows us to advance the county's strategic initiatives. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in health policy, sociology, psychology, social work, anthropology, education, language, cultures, or related field, OR;
  • Two years professional experience related to the work assigned to the position.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate.

Responsibilities
