About The Position

As a CEP Planner, you'll be the voice that connects Precoa's Community Education Program to the churches, senior living communities, veterans' organizations, and civic groups that make up the fabric of a community. You'll set the appointments that let our Advance Funeral Planners bring valuable education and events directly to the people who need them. You’ll see the impact of your work in the community as every call moves a real partnership forward.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of sales experience or relevant phone-based experience
• Strong phone communication skills: clear, persuasive, comfortable with both positive and negative conversations
• Comfortable with PC operations and standard software (Word, Excel, email)
• Ability to sit and talk on the phone for extended periods using a headset

Responsibilities

• Set appointments that matter: You'll spend the bulk of your day on the phone, connecting with decision-makers at churches, senior living facilities, veterans' organizations, and civic groups. Every appointment you set opens the door for a community partnership and a bonus in your pocket.
• Build relationships that last: You won't just make a call and move on. You'll follow up, build rapport, and turn first conversations into ongoing partnerships that keep the CEP program growing across the community.
• Partner across the team: You'll work closely with Account Managers to source leads and kick off new CEP partnerships, and with Planners across the team to share what's working.
• Sharpen your craft every day: You'll get better with every call, with ongoing training and coaching to grow your phone skills and confidence.
