Senior Community Driver
About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking a Part Time Driver for our assisted living community located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. The primary responsibilities will include transporting residents to scheduled physician appointments and outings, performing light office work, assisting residents in and out of the vehicle, inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips, and providing a comfortable environment for seniors as they're transported to various off-site events. A "safety first" attitude towards all residents and staff is essential.
Requirements
- Current NC Driver's license
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Friendly and accommodating
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to interact with residents in a positive and helpful manner
- Strong customer service skills are a must
- Genuine interest in the safety and well-being of residents
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience driving in a senior living setting strongly preferred
