About The Position
The Community Driver at Cherrywood Village transports residents to/from offsite activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other offsite events. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. This position is in Independent Living. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors, then we are meant to be together! We want people like you to join our team.
Requirements
- Must have a current Driver’s License.
- Two or more years of experience driving others, or other related fields.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Transports residents to/from offsite activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other offsite events.
- Ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles.
- Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.
