About The Position

ICCU is seeking a Community Development Intern to join their innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to learn alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in event production, communication, business administration, special events management, and strategic partnerships. The intern will assist the Community Development team in planning and executing events, engaging with members and the community, and contributing to ICCU's mission of helping members achieve financial success.

Requirements

  • A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position.
  • The ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Eligible for membership at ICCU.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
  • Assisting with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
