About The Position

ICCU is seeking a Community Development Intern to join our innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the community by assisting the Community Development team in planning and executing events. Interns will gain hands-on experience in event production, communication, business administration, special events management, and strategic partnerships. ICCU's mission is to help members achieve financial success, and this internship provides a unique chance to contribute to that mission while learning valuable skills.

Requirements

  • A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
  • Assisting with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
